TSS Presents: Friday Freestyle Report #08 'Heavy Bar Talk'

Heavy weight bar sessions from platforms and artist that respect and observe hip hop culture. If you don't know 'Bars On I-95' yet, they kick off things as per usual on the edition of this 'Friday Freestyle Report'.

Light bar exhibition from Tsu Surf.
This next one is a new classic. You heard that here first.
I have to admit I did not like the beat at all on this next one but Kyah Baby got her bars off nicely. I would have liked to her kick her stuff a capella. This session is from Cosmic Kev out in Philadelphia.
OT The Real and Big Ooh get off some bars at the Launch Pad in Boston. Things get really ill on the second beat.

I don't think it will be. This is Lady London spitting all bars and no bullshit on 'Bars On I-95' home of the heavy talkers and she fit right in. I didn't know Lady London would be t...

Even today in 2018 it still seems like everyone wants to be a dj. Some truly want to study the craft and become part of the culture while a large portion of these alleged knowledge seekers are infatuated with money, fame and potential affection from women with poor judgement in men and bad taste in music. But for those who truly seek the path to higher levels of turntable enlightenment Rob Swift and his Brolic Army are here for you.     In 2014 Swift began teaching a course called 'Dj Skills & Styles' as a professor at the New School for Liberal Arts in New York City. During the course students use turntables and vinyl to learn the fundamentals of mixing, scratching and beat juggling. With only twelve student per class each semester you are damn near getting one on one time with one of the most respected and experienced turntablist on the planet. If you are like me and desire to battle then this right here might be exactly what you are look...
