Top 5 Worst Freestyles Ever

Everybody knows some jack ass who can't rap that always wants to rap. What they lack in skill and timing is made up for with confidence and no concept of giving up when secretly everyone around wants them to be quiet.  And while this honestly isn't a list of the worst freestyles ever it is a sincere look at five examples of people you don't want to be like. If you find yourself on this list it only means you were wack in that moment. What you do with the rest of your life is up to you but whatever you do please think about not rapping. Ever.

1.
If it wasn't for her rapping I wouldn't have anything to say. In a nutshell she talked a lot of shit before her freestyle and then turned in a very underwhelming performance. She had the enthusiasm and bravado of someone who was going to kill it and from the looks of things she barely showed up for the fight. I expect better out of Sway. This chick should watch some Millyz videos and learn how it done. Nice try....but that shit was trash.

2.
"Everybody can't come up here."
That's what they like to say on Funk Flex. After this bullshit performance Quentin Miller better not ever come up here again. Aside from seeming in way over his head he was whispering. If you have no clue who QM is this is the guy who wrote a bunch of shit for Drake. Meek Mill punched him in the mall and he and everybody who watched this segment just took an L. Thanks Quentin.

3.
Things I wish I could unsee. He's got potential but needs some guidance. This is possibly the best of this worst list. Still wack though. Work on your rhymes nigga.

4.
Iggy Azalea is exactly where I have permanently part ways with TI. She was very awkward in this video and judging from TI's body language he knew this was some bullshit. The only good thing about this video is the last few seconds when a caller gives his opinon of her performance. This is that video.

5.
People told me to check out John Cena. That was exactly when I parted ways with taking suggestions on freestyles. While this is not the type of material I look for it is a perfect example of shit I try to avoid. As much as I want to hate Iggy Azalea I have to be honest and say that I believe this shit is even worse.

Friday Freestyle Report 04 Bars and Blunts

The cats over at 'Bars On I-95' have come through two weeks in a row with exceptional female talent. Ms. Hustle runs with the baton Lady Luck passed off last week as A.B. and Cease continue curating what will one day be a legendary list of freestyle performances. Ms.Hustle is hard and brings to the table an aggressiveness that is not present in a lot of male emcees. Ms Hustle is right at home on the home of the heavy spitters. I would have liked to hear a little bit more from her.   'Bars On I-95'...Thank you for this one. This one impressed with instant classic status. Other female emcees would be wise to take a lot of notes here. Any emcee in general could learn something here. Now I'm wondering if the rest of that Fred The Godson will be better than this. I don't think it will be. This is Lady London spitting all bars and no bullshit on 'Bars On I-95' home of the heavy talkers and she fit right in. I didn't know Lady London would be t...

So you want to be a Dj?

Even today in 2018 it still seems like everyone wants to be a dj. Some truly want to study the craft and become part of the culture while a large portion of these alleged knowledge seekers are infatuated with money, fame and potential affection from women with poor judgement in men and bad taste in music. But for those who truly seek the path to higher levels of turntable enlightenment Rob Swift and his Brolic Army are here for you.     In 2014 Swift began teaching a course called 'Dj Skills & Styles' as a professor at the New School for Liberal Arts in New York City. During the course students use turntables and vinyl to learn the fundamentals of mixing, scratching and beat juggling. With only twelve student per class each semester you are damn near getting one on one time with one of the most respected and experienced turntablist on the planet. If you are like me and desire to battle then this right here might be exactly what you are look...
