TSS Presents: Friday Freestyle Report #08 'Heavy Bar Talk'

Heavy weight bar sessions from platforms and artist that respect and observe hip hop culture. If you don't know 'Bars On I-95' yet, they kick off things as per usual on the edition of this 'Friday Freestyle Report'.  Light bar exhibition from Tsu Surf. This next one is a new classic. You heard that here first. I have to admit I did not like the beat at all on this next one but Kyah Baby got her bars off nicely. I would have liked to her kick her stuff a capella. This session is from Cosmic Kev out in Philadelphia. OT The Real and Big Ooh get off some bars at the Launch Pad in Boston. Things get really ill on the second beat. Statik Selektah

American Grime

View this post on Instagram check out all the things we have coming down the pipeline 💪 #AmericanGrime #ACTIVE A post shared by MC Jumanji (@mcjumanji) on Feb 5, 2019 at 7:58am PST What's harder than making it in drum n bass in the states? Try making it in Grime in the same location. Yet through hard work and dedication Mc Jumanji and his American Grime posse are making their way whilst earning their respect. What were once idols and inspirations are now becoming peers. I enjoyed this session and interview from Kiss FM during their recent UK radio tour. Afterwards enjoy the session between American Grime and Flowdan.

TSS Presents: Rappers You Should Know About #03 'Conway The Machine'

'Conway The Machine' is a hip hop connoisseur's dream come true. The high quality consistency of his output will have him regarded as one of the greats. Together with his Griselda comrades the sound of   New York hardcore hip hop continues to advance. And at the same time tomorrow's class of legendary emcees are being influenced today by one the best that is currently doing it. There's a reason Eminem signed him. Here's a few reasons to add him to your rotation.

TSS Presents 'Friday Freestyle Report #07'

If you are looking for a way to fast track getting your rap name known outside your city here are two platforms that are not charging artist to come on and spit. The expectation is that you're not going to show up and do some bullshit. This is for elite level emcees. As a viewer who hates the wait between videos I don't want one to come out and it's a disappointment because you suck at rap. The first video is a conversation between one of the host of 'Bars On I-95' and the hostbc of the 'No Ghost Writer' platform. Reach out to these guys and make get deeper into the culture. You help keep this alive in the proper form when you participate. You can't buy this type of respect but you can earn it and here are two places you can start.    Popperazzi Po gives a lesson.

TSS Presents: Rappers You Should Know About 'Rap Pack #02 Millyz'

There's something special going on in the state of Massachusetts when it comes to rap. I've never been there but I'm feeling the heat from their talent down here in Texas. Representing out Cambridge is Millyz. The freestyle game is where this man shines and that what keeps him on my radar. I hope to see this guy on 'Bars On I-95' soon.
